Hiya.
I'm a commercial creative and strategist. I specialise in ‘content’ in all its forms but ads too.
A bit of a hybrid, I was once called ‘a bit of a ‘Swiss-army knife in human form.’ I squirm a bit when I write that tbh but it’s kind of effective.
My work does win £multi-million briefs, makes clients confident and creative teams happy and proud. I’ll fix strategy problems with minimum fuss and make creative work ace. I love pitching, presenting and articulating things.
I work on-site or remotely or a mix of the two. Whatever works.
The main needs I help with are:
All-round strategy
Across comms planning, brand, content and digital. Research, refinement or the whole shebang.
Conceptual creative
Content, campaigns, formats and ads across all channels. End-to-end guidance and production.
Consultancy
New business and winning pitches. Improving proposals and sharpening creative briefs. Coaching teams or as a foil for the department lead.
My main passion is producing long form branded entertainment.
But I love to develop strategies, formats and content across emerging channels too.
Previous clients, commissioners and employers include:
BBC, BBC Studios, Channel 4, Sky, Defender, Virgin Media, Red Bull, Discovery, Netflix, Disney, Immediate Media, BFI, WWF, Patagonia, the FA, Guinness World Records, Unilever, adidas, P&G, BMW, MINI, Jaguar Land Rover and more.
Jobs I have had include:
Strategist, Exec Producer, Shopkeeper, Interpreter, Nursery Assistant, Writer, Creative Director, Campsite Entertainer (really), Researcher, Editor, Examination Marker, Journalist, Solicitor Assistant, Waiter, Ghost Writer, Newspaper Boy, DJ/Promoter, Language Coach to deaf students.
I think it’s this that gives my work the empathy, energy and life it needs.
But don’t believe me, believe them.
